Voter Registration Deadlines:
Online: Oct 9, 2020
In-person: Oct 31, 2020
Registration by mail: Must be postmarked no later than Oct 9, 2020.
Early Voting Period: Oct 15-Oct 31, 2020
Voter Eligibility:
To vote in the state of North Carolina, you must be:
- A United States citizen
- A resident of North Carolina and have lived at your address for at least 30 days before the election
- At least 18 years old by the election (may pre-register at 16 but cannot vote until 18)
- Not serving a sentence for a felony conviction (including probation or parole). If you were previously convicted your citizenship rights must be restored.
- Must rescind any previous registration in another county or state.
