Voter Registration Deadline: Oct 10, 2020
This deadline is for online and in-person.
Registration by mail must be postmarked no later than Oct 10, 2020.
Early Voting Period:
You may vote by absentee ballot in-person at your local election official’s office.
Voter Eligibility:
To vote in the state of Delaware, you must be:
- A United States citizen
- A resident of Delaware
- 18 years old on or before the day of the election
- Mentally competent
NOTE: Convicted felons may register to vote if:
- You were not convicted of a disqualifying felony as defined in the Delaware Constitution. View list of disqualifying felonies
- You have completed your sentence
If you do not have a fixed residence or are homeless you may still vote, however, you must show two forms of ID, which must include a mailing address (such as a shelter or an agency address).
